Adam's day started way too early, making that tempting offer for him to get ready and go out for a jog. He woke up to the sound of his phone vibrating, buzzing the pillow that he hid it under. He blinked groggily, reaching under the pillow to snatch out his phone, raising it up to look at the caller's name. It flashed his father's name and he knew the consequences of declining the call and knew what would happen if he closed his phone or ignored the call altogether. He'd call over and over again until Adam would answer him. "Yo, pop~" He singsonged despite how sleepy he sounded. Resting his head on the comfortable pillow, he twisted his body on the bed to fall into a comfortable position.
The conversation stretched out, it started with sleepy comebacks and ended with his father hanging up on him after yelling at him. Just the usual, nothing different about that. One thing he knew for sure. He won't be able to get back to sleep. With a delayed huff, he sat up and moved himself to the edge of the bed, his hand sneakily making its way up to ruffle through his hair. Dragging a towel out of his wardrobe, he escaped his way toward the bathroom, disappearing with a distant click, signaling the door being shut.
After a few moments, he came out with a towel lazily wrapped around his waist and another one rubbing his hair. Making his way to his wardrobe, Adam opened it to snatch out his tracksuit before closing it to get ready after gathering his clothes. Grabbing his headphones, connecting them with his phone. He thought it would be better to take a run around the Gym since the field there was larger and carried less people.
For the first time, he didn't seek the glory of people keeping their eyes on him. His mood was on the swing after the rude awakening caused by his father. His walk soon started to slowly get dragged into a jog then into a run. His words ringing through his head, way too much that it made his chest tighten uncomfortably, wasting his breath even more. Soon enough, his thoughts became too much, his legs running weak and before he knew it, he felt a large wave of pain wash through him. His hands were pressed against the ground and knees wobbling from the fall. "Ow, ow, ow." He hissed a few times, slowly pushing himself to stand up. So much for a graceful run.
