{ I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow, but I realize that I need you, and I wondered if I could come home? Hikaru's uncle had been out of town for the past week, and he wasn't coming back for at least one more. In his mind, apparently that meant there was some kind of an excuse to act more reckless than normal. He'd already been pressured into doing one or two things he probably shouldn't have been proud of involving a gun threat and and a sudden increase in money. Unfortunate as always, the guilt just really wasn't there. If anything, he just felt relief that his "friends" were going to leave him alone for a little while, and not expect him to do participate in anything else. Of course, that wasn't a guarantee, but it was definitely a start. If his uncle had been in town, he probably wouldn't have gotten out the door past him in order to fulfill his task. That man was always watching, paying far too much attention. At least when his parents were around, as horrible as they were, slipping past them was easy as pie. He was invisible. Had his uncle been home, he probably would have had to settle for an ass beating which would have been unfortunate considering he still had deep bruises all over his body from the last one. It wasn't like he hadn't returned quite a few, so he was satisfied.
The first day his uncle left, he actually been a part of jumping some unsuspecting soul. In his mind that just meant that he deserved anything that might have been coming if he would've gotten caught from his little stunt. After dropping off his earnings from his crime, Hikaru started on his way home. He'd be going back to a quiet place without his uncle sitting on the couch waiting to ask him what time it is. The last time he'd done that, Hikaru had chosen to be captain obvious about it. Then he'd asked why he wanted to know. That earned him quite the long lecture. He scoffed thinking about it, still unable to figure out why the man gave a damn anyways. Hikaru was sure he was just dying for him to turn eighteen so he could throw him out.
Digging into the pocket of his black coat, Hikaru dug out six white capsules, putting them all into his mouth at once and swallowing. It was his counter attack on feeling any sort of guilt for how disappointed his damn uncle might have been in him. He really didn't want to care, and he was definitely doing his best not too.
During his walk home, he'd begun to feel slightly dizzy. That wouldn't have been an unusual thing if it hadn't been for the fact that he was having a little bit of trouble even walking straight. He sighed to himself, realizing that he'd probably over done it on the pain killers this time. He'd forgotten that he'd been getting much stronger ones for the soul purpose of not needing so many anymore. It wasn't because he was trying to cut back considering they packed more of a punch. He just wanted to spend less money for the something better, and he'd found the solution.
The dizzy feeling just got worse, his vision hazier. He could have sworn he was so close to his home already, so he just continued to walk on. He was swerving all over, walking in the middle of the street even though he'd thought he'd been on the sidewalk. He wasn't new to feeling the way he was, but he was definitely not thrilled that he wasn't already back at his house feeling this way.
The good thing was that it was already midnight. There wasn't anyone driving down his street in which he had somehow managed to make it to. Unfortunately when he'd stopped and turned to see his house actually in front of him, he collapsed after the first step. He sort of blacked out, falling down on the street. His hat fell off his head, blowing a foot away from the wind.
Hikaru couldn't have been sure how long he'd been laying there as he'd slowly begun to blink his eyes open, his black bangs dragged over his eyes. It was still very dark, so it couldn't have been too long. He'd woken to the sound of a car horn, but upon Hikaru decided not to move, the driver had literally just gone around him. He didn't even stop to try and help. That was just one more reason for Hikaru to hate the world, never able to view it as anything more than cold.
Though he was awake now, he didn't move from the street. He was still feeling relatively out of it. He just stared forward, seeing the bottom of the door of his house in the distance. It was so close, but he didn't have the energy to continue forward. Maybe if I just lay here a while... I'll feel like moving again... His body was shaking, but he didn't even really notice. Even if he had, he wasn't sure he'd really care. Hikaru had given up a long time ago.{ Reisi Jurou | 855 | if this doesn't work for you, I can make it an open thread, because I went nuts it seems, sorry <3 } MADE BY VEL OF GS

IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO? 寂しい 。。。 Reisi's life had been nothing but a constant flicker of light, thrown between darkness and light, never fixating on a side. It was probably better for him, knowing that if he threw himself into his own darkness, he'd never be able to get out of it alive. He was weak-willed, upon a simple push from his grandfather, he knew exactly what will happen next. He was forced to wear a shirt with long sleeves in order to hide his scars, for the sake of the old man, really. He could barely take a gore scene playing on the screen, let alone an actual scar left behind on his wrist or arm. In the middle of a burning summer, his arms would be protected with the long sleeves of his jacket, leaving behind no trace of skin for others to look at. He knew exactly what he'd get from others if they ever saw the marks shining in the light. First, their faces would twist in disgust, then sympathy, and then they'd pretend they'd never seen anything. It was the human after all. Even though his heart was beating, he never once felt alive. He never felt that tug of danger when he moved too close to the railing. Not even an ounce of pain when his thumb traces over the closed wound. Just why would he call himself a human if his pain merely shut him off? It was pathetic. 'Can you buy us some milk? I think we ran out last night. 'The old man could barely drag out his voice, and yet, he pretended he was alright. He pretended as if he wasn't crying or his heart torn to pieces after his wife's death. They all experienced grief heavily, worse than anyone out there. Reisi just wanted to put an end to his own misery and release the old man from his spell. But if he did that, he'd only crush him more, his heart would be all over the place, even if he was gone by then, the blame would still be on him. He felt as if he was targeted by the angel of death, in each step he took and every breath he drew, it was watching him with apathetic eyes, laughing in a sickening way as Reisi neared his own end. He left the house to go visit the nearby store to get what his grandfather wanted, coming back with a small white bag containing a bottle of milk and ten eggs. His own steps echoed around the corners, streets slightly dusty, no cars passed by as it was slightly dangerous in the middle of the night. He felt as if he owned the street all to himself, a small smirk of victory. His nails bit into his long sleeves, drawing it forward to hide his hand to the knuckles while his other hand held the back, his thumb subconsciously scratching the bag as he walked. Reisi started wondering what the old man was doing by now, probably watching one of the cooking shows to help the boy cook a proper meal. He stood by and watched his mother a lot, so that helped him cook properly, but still, some of the meals were a mystery to the boy. One that he desperately wanted to solve. His footsteps echoed on the road, creating some sort of rhythm as he walked, eyes fixed forward. As he neared his house, he always passed by the Oshiro house first since the road took him there anyway. He was about to change his way and take some sort of short cut, try to shove himself into some danger, rebelling against the strict order of not going somewhere dark all by himself. But his reckless plan stopped upon noticing a body on the floor. First instinct was to leave them be, it wasn't his problem anyway. If he was the young boy he used to be, he'd call the ambulance and care for the fallen until it would arrive. But when he found a hat rolling to his feet by the wind, he slowly started to realize who that person might be. Bending down to grab the hat, he cautiously started to approach the body, keeping his eyes fixed on his chest, waiting to see it rise and fall. A small sigh of relief escaped past his thin lips once he saw it rise and fall, he was alive. "Hi-Hikaru?" He whispered, approaching the body. He was lying down in the middle of the road, his eyes slightly open. "Hikaru, it's me." He wanted him to snap out of it somehow. "Are you okay? Why are you in the middle of the road? Do you want me to take you to a hospital?" What happened to the careless boy who wanted to leave the body there? What happened to his stoic face, the one that was suddenly replaced by one of worry. He went down on his knees, "what's wrong?"

{ I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow, but I realize that I need you, and I wondered if I could come home? I'll get up... Just a few more minutes... He continued to tell himself the same thing, not really thinking it matter much to anyone at all if he'd bothered to spend the rest of his night in the street. No one was going to bother to call anyone. No one would help him. No one had cared about him since the day he'd been born, despite his uncle's efforts to pretend. Hikaru had such a hard time believing the man even if he'd treated him better than anyone before. He was still an ass.Hikaru, it's me.A voice. I know that voice... He hadn't even heard anyone approaching, so the fact that he'd heard someone speak made him wonder if he was just hallucinating. Especially because he liked the sound of it, and Hikaru prided himself on believing that he didn't really like anything. Not anymore. It was just safer that way.Are you okay? Why are you in the middle of the road? Do you want me to take you to a hospital? The voice spoke to him again, and Hikaru would have brushed it off had he not seen the knees that had lowered to the ground in front of him. His eyes tried to trail up from the boys legs to view his face, but he couldn't quite move them. Not yet. What's wrong? Now he knew for sure that'd he'd recognized it after hearing it again. "Reisi....?" He whispered, barely even a murmur. Though the two of them had never spoken too much together, he'd grown rather fond of that voice. It made his heart skip a beat, which hurt in his current situation. "No... No hospitals."Hikaru groaned quietly as he did he best to shift around. He managed to put a hand on the ground a push himself into a sitting position, shaking the entire time. Even though he'd managed to get that far, his body was still swaying to one side slightly, threatening to fall back over at any moment. Reisi was the only person he still didn't want to see him like this, but he supposed it couldn't really be helped. "If you take me there, they'll just arrest me." He admitted in his usual soft and almost monotone voice despite the bit of strain on it, deciding it was better to tell him the truth about that to calm his fear of getting stuck going to one. He had way too much in his system that wasn't prescribed to him. His uncle would be called, and even if he wasn't arrested, there would be a fine or something else that he didn't want to deal with. The doctors have no obligation to tell the police about it, but his family doctor was just that kind of ass. He'd threatened him the last time he'd gotten dragged in, and he had no intention of letting him go through with it."I just took a little too much... medicine." He couldn't bring himself to outright tell Reisi what was going on and exactly the type of medicine. He also wasn't sure if he'd figure it out. Hikaru tried to get up and onto his feet, but he lost his footing before he could even manage and ended up in the same sitting position. He'd twisted his ankle on the way down, but he didn't feel a thing. A hand came up and rested on his face as he tried to focus though the haziness of it all. "I just need to get inside." Sleeping in the street felt like it wasn't really an option now that Reisi had spotted him. Then again, maybe if he told him he was alright, he'd volunteer to just leave him. The world was that kind of place after all. He tried to push himself up again, struggling even more now that his ankle didn't want to cooperate. MADE BY VEL OF GS

IS HE ALL THE THINGS YOU TRIED TO CHANGE ME INTO? 寂しい 。。。 Reisi could barely grasp the mere thought of seeing Hikaru again. He always isolated himself in the house, or maybe they went out on different times, that could explain why they never came across one another that much. Hikaru became a mystery to him, he could distantly remember his parents telling him the boy was something else - someone special but he never had the chance to show them that they were right. Reisi believed his parents and thought the same about him, so when he saw him on the ground like them, looking partly dead to anyone who'd cast a glance, he found his heart skipping dangerously and feet carrying him to him without thinking about his steps or how he suddenly found himself nearing the personal bubble of the boy. His hat soft in his hand, fingers catching the edge of it. Hikaru's hair was disheveled, a small mess residing on the boy's head, it tempted Reisi to care for him and adjust his clothes and hair to the way it used to be. Reisi's eyes were blown with concern, not a single muscle in his body wasn't shaking and that was no good sign. He bothered to pay enough attention to classes, after all. So for him to be like this, it made him consider taking him home. He should just take him to the hospital, he should. No... No hospitals.
His thoughts rejected before he could even protest, he wanted to let him know how bad he looked. His eyebrows furrowed in silent question. He could only watch when Hikaru started shifting to put himself in a sitting position. Reisi, overly concerned, kept himself alarmed to reach out for him and help him if he ever fell to the side, judging by how he continued to swing back and forth relentlessly. If you take me there, they'll just arrest me.
Arrest him? His lips turned into a small 'o', considering his words before he gave a weak nod. "Okay, I won't. I won't take you there," he would never be the reason behind such a thing. For some reason, he always felt a strange sense of concern for Hikaru even though they never spoke much to one another, he felt slightly protective over him. I just took a little too much... medicine.
Reisi's eyebrows furrowed upon hearing that, the gears in his mind shifting and turning. With the way he said it and the way he looked, it was probably a step in self-destruction, a suckerpunch to fate's face where they decide to take matters into their hands and decide their own destiny where they shorten their own lifespans, either punishing themselves or someone else. "You look really pale, Hikaru. What did you take?" I just need to get inside.
Reisi's alarming senses betrayed him when he barely saw it coming, Hikaru went back to the same sitting position after trying to sit up. He immediately grasped his shoulder. "Hey, hey, stop moving, I don't think you see straight around this point." Reisi warned him softly, releasing his shoulder when he noticed he stepped beyond his lines, but it was necessary if he wanted to help Hikaru off the ground and to his house. "Let's go to my place, I'll try to figure out a way to make you feel better." He informed him about his next step, "I also don't want your uncle to have a panic attack seeing you like this. You can go back once you feel better. Here, lemme help you stand up." Though he didn't take his arm right away, instead, he waited for a bit to seek out an answer. He only offered out his hand for Hikaru to take and lean on. Hikaru Oshiro | you lil rebel c:DOES HE MAKE YOU CRY? DOES HE KNOW THE WAY YOU FEEL? LOVE IS ALL AROUND YOU, YOUR UNIVERSE IF FULL. { I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow, but I realize that I need you, and I wondered if I could come home? Okay, I won't. I won't take you there.Relief flooded through him. At least that was one less thing he had to worry about, though he was surprisingly less worried then he should have been. It was probably the pills still having quite a decent effect on him even if the good feeling was wearing off, and he was left with a few not so good ones taking it's place. You look really pale, Hikaru. What did you take?He really never thought Reisi would be the one to find him here and ask such questions. It almost felt like he'd cared in a way, which made Hikaru cringe inside. The same people who'd given birth to him were basically the ones who'd killed Reisi's parents and made him have to suffer. He was the child of demons, and he didn't deserve his kindness. "It doesn't matter," he responded, voice very monotone but soft as ever. Reisi should have just turned away and left him there. He had no obligation to the demon boy that was himself.Hikaru felt a hand on his shoulder as he tried to steady himself once again, and his first instinct would have normally been to jerk away. However, he didn't do that. Maybe he just didn't have the energy. It didn't feel as awful as when other people grabbed onto him. Usually the only reason anyone touched him was to cause him pain. Reisi seemed to be helping him, and it just left him with a lot of confusion.Hey, hey, stop moving, I don't think you see straight around this point. He let go of his grip, and Hikaru put all his effort into not falling over. He hadn't realized that he'd been leaning into his hand, actually using it for support. He made himself sick upon thinking about that, knowing he really didn't deserve any of the boy's kindness.Let's go to my place, I'll try to figure out a way to make you feel better. I also don't want your uncle to have a panic attack seeing you like this. You can go back once you feel better. Here, lemme help you stand up.Reisi's words made Hikaru's eyes widen for just a moment before they fell back down into their half open state. His whole body was still trembling, and he couldn't get a grasp on himself. Stop it... Stop being so nice to me... He looked at the hand that was extended out to him, the hand he didn't deserve to take. Even knowing this, he felt himself being drawn to it. His own hand began to lift up slowly and reach out for it, stopping just after he'd touched his finger tips, which seemed to send a unknown feeling that surged through his body. He immediately let his hand drop back down to his side like dead weight. He just couldn't take it. He couldn't accept his help."You don't have to help me. Just leave me here." His eyes were on the other boys knees, averting making contact with his face. "My uncle's not home. He's gone for another week." He should have been greatful for that, but he honestly didn't care if he worried the man, because deep down he still didn't believe the guy actually cared as much as he pretended to. He tried to get up once more, this time making it all the way to his feet, but cringed at the pain he was now capable of feeling in his ankle from his first attempt. Hikaru fell back down to his knees. He didn't want to be alone right now, but he deserved to be. He was beginning to feel some fear for the consequences of all of this, and he really didn't want to. One shaking hand dug into the pocket of his jacket, pulling out two more of the white pills that had got him into this mess in the first place. Even with the consequences, he didn't want to feel like this. Maybe they'd make him feel good enough to at least get into his door before he went crashing down again. "You're very kind, Reisi, but I can handle myself." What a lie that was. He slowly lifted his arm, reading to pop them into his mouth.
Since Hikaru had been watching Reisi for some time, he'd seen the changes in him. Though he wasn't aware of his self harm, he was definitely aware that he'd become a different person from the boy he'd used to see at dinner parties. His parents did that to him, and he still couldn't forgive himself even if it wasn't his fault. MADE BY VEL OF GS

sea song oh won't you come with me where the ocean meets the sky and as the clouds roll by we'll sing the song of the sea [attr="class","nitwit"] [attr="class","dumbass"] 'It doesn't matter,' The edges of his lips tugged down, mirroring a small frown at Hikaru's statement. It does matter when he looks like that, when he could barely support his own weight. It mattered in a lot of ways. Maybe in ones that Reisi couldn't explain on his own. Worrying his bottom lip between his teeth, he could only stare at Hikaru instead of forming actual words on his tongue. It seemed as if the other would shut him out whenever he'd state something concerning his health so it was a one game field with only Reisi playing. That could never work, not for someone who suddenly felt a lot of concern flash in his eyes for someone he saw just a few times during occassional dinner time with their parents. You don't have to help me. Just leave me here. "Leave you here?" Reisi asked, his eyes slightly widening upon understanding what he meant by that. "No, not happening." He stubbornly said back even if his hand was rejected by the other. The electricity that shot through his body upon feeling their fingertips touch, it made Reisi go through an unknown feeling, the same one that made his stomach twist and turn and heart slowly flutter in his chest. If it was some love novel, it could be described as butterflies. It could be described as something else he dared not to think of. My uncle's not home. He's gone for another week.He was planning to head back there on his own? It might have been bad if his uncle was there, but it was way worse when he realized that Hikaru would be alone in this state of his. His body was fragile and his breathing erratic, it almost looked as if he'd lose conscious any given moment, he had to stay alerted for that. "More reasons to come with me," he was too stubborn for his own good sometimes and he held his ground no matter how many times he was rejected. His eyes remained glued on him, waiting for something to happen. Waiting for the moment he'd have to reach forward and help him, he hoped that moment would never arrive. He watched Hikaru stand up, it proved his own strong will, he tried countless times to stand up but each time, he dropped back down on his knees, his body protesting against the orders his brain was giving them. Get up, get up. Reisi gasped when he fell back down on his knees, he immediately went down on his knees as well, searching for the boy's eyes. Just why? Why was he like this? What medicine was he taking? Reisi's eyes widened when the same pills that placed him in such a state were drawn out of his pockets. Was he planning on taking more? His heart started to beat faster, realizing if he overdosed on those pills, it might take his life away and Reisi would never sit back and watch that happen. You're very kind, Reisi, but I can handle myself.Reisi tsk'ed at that, reaching for the pills to snatch them away from the shaking palm. "Not happening. If you take more you might overdose and die. I won't let that happen on my watch, you might as well wish that someone else found you because I'm not cooperating in getting you killed, okay?" Reisi snapped, though his voice was soft, indicating that he was doing that for Hikaru's own good. He took the chance of having the boy's arm raised to wrap it around his shoulders, supporting Hikaru against him. Reisi started to use his strength to pull the other up from the dirty ground and up to his feet. "Just hang in there, okay? We'll be there soon. Please, Hikaru." Reisi whispered, attempting to help the other up to his feet. { I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow, but I realize that I need you, and I wondered if I could come home? Leave you here? No, not happening.Hikaru's face actually twisted into a little confusion from that finally showing a little bit more emotion than just defeat. "But why?" He asked, voice quieter than usual. As proven by the guy who'd honked at him in the car, anybody else would have just gone around him. This world was black. Everyone in it had heart's that were frozen over, because life was just too hard. It's what he was pretty sure had happened to even Reisi, noticing the difference in him. Yet, here he was, coming to his aid. Hikaru really didn't deserve it. He especially didn't deserve what ever that confusing feeling that touch had given him was, because for once making contact with another human hadn't been a horrible thing.More reasons to come with me, "You're really stubborn..." Hikaru spoke the obvious. He didn't agree with getting help, not even for a second. He couldn't understand why he even wanted to help after what had happened with their parents. Reisi should have hated him. Anyone else would have. Not happening. If you take more you might overdose and die. I won't let that happen on my watch, you might as well wish that someone else found you because I'm not cooperating in getting you killed, okay? Hikaru's eyes widened as the pills were snatched right out of his hand. Those words were sinking into him. They made his heart pound, but he wasn't entirely sure why. Reisi was so convincing that Hikaru almost believed he actually cared about him. If this had been any other junkie, there was no way that pill snatch wouldn't have gotten a boot in their face if they had the energy. If it had been anyone other than Reisi, Hikaru might actually have tried to take a swing. But he couldn't hurt him. There was no way. The thought would never even cross his mind as a consideration.Still stuck on his words, Hikaru unknowingly let his arm be raised up by the other boy. He had just been so confused and what he'd taken was still keeping his body feeling slightly numb, even if it wasn't enough to cover up the pain in his ankle or the feeling he'd gotten from touching him earlier for what he assumed was the first time. He couldn't remember that feeling, and if he'd felt it before, he would have. That had to of been the first time. He let his arm be raised around Reisi's shoulders, blinking when he'd finally snapped back to reality and realized he was doing it. He wanted to pull away immediately, but something stopped him. He'd never had such a safe feeling in his life before. Something about getting support from Reisi gave him security. With that thought, Hikaru was actually feeling a little foolish. Nevertheless, he let himself be pulled up, putting in as much effort as he could to help it happen even though he'd been feeling so weak. Just hang in there, okay? We'll be there soon. Please, Hikaru. He groaned upon feeling the pressure on his ankle, but did his best to keep quiet as he went with the Reisi. His eyes had gone back to only being open a sliver, and he couldn't really see everything in front of him. He wasn't in any condition to really guide himself, and he couldn't believe that he was actually allowing himself to be trust another enough to lead him anywhere. "Reisi..." He spoke quietly in a very monotone way, but couldn't finish his sentence right away due to the escaping of a grunt. "What will your grandfather say?" Hikaru wasn't even sure he'd be allowed in anyone's house while he was in his condition strictly because of the cause. "Just drop me at my own door... I don't want to cause trouble for you." His voice was weak and he did his best to keep it from trembling. He'd done enough of that already, and Reisi didn't even realize it.{ Reisi Jurou | 672 | If you don't have enough to work with, tell me and I'll fix it. (: } MADE BY VEL OF GS

sea song oh won't you come with me where the ocean meets the sky and as the clouds roll by we'll sing the song of the sea [attr="class","nitwit"] [attr="class","dumbass"] But why? He should hate him, he should be hating his guts, but that would be pointless. He was not the main cause behind any of it, his parents died too. They were both thrown into that haunting grief of losing something so meaningful to them. Reisi was broken by the fact they died that way without bidding him farewell, but that only existed in books or a lame story where the character gains his fair share of grief that in the end, he'd get a break, finally. "Honestly? I don't know." He spoke with a monotone tone, too, close to the one Hikaru spoke with. It seemed that his mood would dull out if he ever spoke about his parents, he'd become someone else entirely. Just broken by the consequences. You're really stubborn..."So i've been told." He wrinkled his nose, shoving himself back into his own silence before the conversation would get carried too far beyond his own limits. Biting on his inner cheeks, he started to subconsciously tug on the long sleeve of his shirt, already feeling exposed even though his sleeves made a good job at hiding his scars. He never wanted sympathy out of anyone, it was some kind of crude act, even if they spoke it out loud with gentle laughs or whatever the hell they say while giving someone a delicate pat on their shoulders as if they were made of porcelain. Thankfully, Hikaru didn't pull away or they both would've been on the ground soon after. He mumbled something under his breath, something that sounded like a faint 'good' before he went back into his own dwelling silence. They both made it to the front step of Reisi's house and that's when Hikaru's voice snapped him out, causing the boy to turn his head and look at the pale older student. Reisi... What will your grandfather say?He pondered on an answer, making a small noise in his throat, he looked down at the ground, he made sure Hikaru leaned on him more than his twisted ankle. "He'd say, why haven't you brought him in sooner, kid?" He mimicked the older man's voice and the usual frown crossed over his forehead, it was forever present on his face that Reisi grew accustomed to it and started mimicking it perfectly. Just drop me at my own door... I don't want to cause trouble for you.
Reisi released a small sigh. "You won't, Hikaru. Just come on, the house is right there. From your condition and the twist of your ankle, you won't be able to walk that long before you collapse and you live on your own now, I'll let you go once I'm convinced that you're alright." He sounded like such a caring person, like someone who had nothing troubling him, perhaps for this one person, he'd be willing to put on that face, to let that side of him appear. He gave a slow knock on the door, hand still occupied, holding Hikaru's hand while the other held the boy's wrist to support his weight. Reisi gave the knock because the old man was convinced almost all the time that someone was coming in to steal them and truth was, if anyone broke into their house they'd give their own stolen items to support that empty house. Once the door was opened, he made his way inside, steps slow and careful until he approached the couch and slowly bent his back forward to help Hikaru sit down. Once that was done with, he placed the boy's hat over his head again. "Don't go anywhere, alright? I'll be back with something to help you with." He gave him one last look before he went to search for his grandfather and ask him if he could help him do the right thing with Hikaru, perhaps he knew something in a situation like that. Soon enough, he gave back with water. "I'm sorry, I don't wanna risk giving you more pills, it might do more bad than good. So let's just settle with water and I brought some ice for your ankle, so just press it against the side that hurts you the most, do you want me to do it for you? my grandfather was asleep, so I couldn't really ask him for help.."[newclass=.nitwit]height:300px;overflow:auto;padding-left:10px;padding-right:10px;font-family:calibri;font-size:8pt;text-align:justify;color:#949494;margin-bottom:10px;[/newclass] [newclass=.nitwit::-webkit-scrollbar-thumb:vertical]width:10px;background-color:#e2c700; padding: 20px;[/newclass] [newclass=.nitwit::-webkit-scrollbar]width: 5px;background-color:#e2c700; border: 2px solid #f3f3f3;[/newclass] [newclass=.dumbass]width:100px;height:100px;background-color:#f3f3f3;border:1px solid #dfdfdf;padding:5px;float:right;margin-left:7px;[/newclass]

{ I thought I'd let you know That these things take forever, I especially am slow, but I realize that I need you, and I wondered if I could come home? He'd say, why haven't you brought him in sooner, kid?Hikaru's face actually cracked, smiling lightly at Reisi mocking his grandfather's voice when they'd gotten to the front of his house. The smile was barely noticeable, but it was still there. Now really wasn't the time for any kind of a smile, and Hikaru rarely, if ever, smiled anymore. He couldn't even remember the last time he'd smiled, and as soon as he remembered that, the tugging on the corner of his lips stopped and he was frowning once more. What was it about Reisi that seemed to have powers over him?You won't, Hikaru. Just come on, the house is right there. From your condition and the twist of your ankle, you won't be able to walk that long before you collapse and you live on your own now, I'll let you go once I'm convinced that you're alright.Hikaru wanted to protest once more, but he didn't have the energy to compete with Reisi's stubborn quality. Though he'd never admit it, it was nice to be supported by the other boy. He would have fallen five times over by the time he'd gotten to his own door had he not run into Reisi. He deserved every fall on his face that he got, but that didn't mean this still wasn't nice. Hikaru was a little irritated by the thought of that, but he didn't show it.When they'd gotten inside the house, Hikaru's eyes scanned over the place. It didn't feel quite like the one he'd been at so many times as a child with his parents. Without Mr. and Mrs. Jurou, it had a different vibe about it. Maybe it was just the time that had passed. He cooperated as Reisi helped him sit down on the couch. He grunted lightly as he felt himself sinking into the cushion a little, feeling more comfortable now even if his entire body felt all kinds of off. He looked up at the short brim of his hat as it'd been placed on his head. He'd completely forgotten about it. His eyes, still only open in slivers went back over to look at Reisi. "Thank you." His words were soft and quiet as ever.Don't go anywhere, alright? I'll be back with something to help you with.Hikaru didn't bother responding to that. His mind started slipping again. By the time Reisi left him, everything was hazy once more. If he didn't know any better he'd say his vision was going to be stuck this blurry forever. It wasn't permanent though. He leaned his head back on the back of the couch. His head was spinning but it didn't hurt. He just felt weak and dazed. When Reisi finally entered the room again, Hikaru's head lifted and his eyes went from the ceiling to Reisi's face. His mouth was slightly agape, but he didn't even really notice. He felt like he only had one hand in the portal of reality.I'm sorry, I don't wanna risk giving you more pills, it might do more bad than good. So let's just settle with water and I brought some ice for your ankle, so just press it against the side that hurts you the most, do you want me to do it for you? my grandfather was asleep, so I couldn't really ask him for help.He starred at him for a moment before he purposely fell to his side on top of the couch. He brought his legs up on top of it, wincing a little at his hurt ankle. "No need." He said quietly. "I just need to sleep it off." Another lie. He couldn't help it. He was too harsh on himself to let anyone help him even if he really needed it. He couldn't burden Reisi of all people with his own stupid issues. He wouldn't. MADE BY VEL OF GS

and maybe one day you'll UNDERSTAND WHY everything you touch surely dies Thank you.
Don't thank me. I've barely done a thing and I still can't help. Reisi wanted to say, though it was a moment where Hikaru finally spoke to say something nice and it made his lips automatically stretch into an appreciative smile. It was nothing more but a quick flash, toothless and almost broken. A smile that held a meaning was the one he spread on his lips whenever his mother was around. Her presence alone soothed the boy and sent him to a deep slumber. The scent of bacon in the morning was the only reason he got up from bed in the morning to go to school. Whenever his steps lead him into doing something correct, he'd get encouraging words from her and a proud look from his father.
For those memories to be rudely slapped away like that, for him to suddenly feel empty, becoming nothing more but a hollow figure, lifeless and indifferent. That seemed to change around one person, though. The only person he cared about. If his grandfather was awake, he would surely comment on the expressions Reisi was making around him. He really was special to the young boy even though they never clicked much, or spoke for that matter.
Now, the young Oshiro was in his house, sitting on his couch and forming a proper conversation with him even though so little was done from his side, he still felt grateful. A surprised expression briefly settled over his face when Hikaru fell to his side on the couch and brought his knees up, mocking the movement of a child inside a mother's womb. Reisi rolled his eyes, looking at the other.
I just need to sleep it off.
Why was he refusing his help? Why was he so determined on getting himself killed? Scratch that, he never wants to know why. "If you sleep it off you might never wake up." The boy bluntly said, approaching Hikaru to crouch down, hands on his kneecaps, his backside almost touching the floor while all his weight was fixated on his legs. "You had your reasons to take the pills and It's not my business to get involved, I know that, but I won't let that stop me from taking care of you. I don't know why I'm doing this, perhaps I'm doing it for my mom because I know she'd do that or at least, want me to do it. So you have to let me help you, you can hate me after that, I don't care. Maybe it's selfish of me to help someone when I never allowed anyone to help me, It feels-- like I don't have a thing to offer back. But I can't see myself letting you kill yourself like that. We never spoke much and It would be a shame to have this conversation as our last, right? We can do so much better."
