[attr="class","ttbody"]Today was one of those days that he didn't have practice with the Swim Club, so he actually had a free afternoon after school. He was hoping that he would be able to see his little brother in action during Michi's track practice. The only thing that really kept him from doing that was the sheer fact that his training kept him very busy at times. If it wasn't for that, Kensei might have already made some effort to watch Michi's progress, since his parents took more stock in himself. The ginger was fortunate enough to quietly arrive right on time for the practice race and he took a seat in the bleachers as quietly as he could. His facial expression looked expressionless as he masked his true emotions, but it could be confused for slight irritation or complete lack of emotion. The ginger was quite eager to see exactly what he could do and it left him feeling excited, but he contained his enthusiasm because he wanted to surprise his brother whenever he finally realized that he was there.
The elder of the two brothers wanted to see the younger one reach his full potential and support him when no one else would. Michi had always stood up for him ever since he can remember growing up, but he hadn't really done the same for his brother like an older brother should. Kensei and Michi were practically polar opposites of each other to most people that knew them, but the truth was that they were more alike than the ginger would like to let on. If his life had turned out in a different way, Kensei would be no different from Michi who wore his heart on his sleeve, while Kensei built walls around it to keep himself from getting hurt. The only exception to that was Michi, who was his own light in the darkness he had created around himself.
