HELP ME LEAVE BEHIND SOME REASONS tO BE MISSED

Daichi shoved himself into a booth at the sandwich shop. His headphones hung around his neck, threatening sounding music softly coming through the sides. He could barely hear it himself, considering he was doing his best to trash his ears every day with loud music. For whatever reason, he'd chosen to sit near a window which he didn't realize was a bad idea until about five minutes later when he was wincing at the sun. He hadn't gone to school in about a week, and he spent the majority of his time crammed up in his room. He felt like a freaking vampire any time he looked up a bit and the sun came blaring into his grey eyes. So, he just decided it was best to eat with his head down. What else was knew? He'd probably be avoiding looking around anyways even if it wasn't for the sun trying to treat him like it's little bitch.

His dark hair fell over his eyes as he leaned down to take another bite. He only finished about one third of his sandwich before he pushed it away. He really didn't feel like eating, and he wasn't entirely positive why he'd come out here in the first place. Usually, he preferred to just sit at home and order delivery to avoid having to go into public places. He thought about it for a moment before remembering how badly he'd wanted a sandwich and how they wouldn't actually deliver to his place. It was such a pain, and now that he was here, he didn't even want the thing. He felt too out of place like everyone in the damn shop was just starring at him. Of course, no one had even batted an eye in the messy haired boy's direction, but that didn't put his stomach any more at ease.

After his run in with the cruel witch at Iwatobi High School, he'd been even more of a shut in then usual. She'd threatened to make sure everyone in the entire school knew who he was, and that was something he really, really didn't want. Since he hadn't even bothered to show up, he had no idea if she'd gone through with her threat. Daichi thought that maybe if he was gone long enough and she'd already spread her wild rumors around, they might all just forget by the time he actually went back. Or, he could just never go back. It's not like his parents would bother to notice. They hadn't even realized he'd been home for an entire week now, but that was because they were always out doing whatever the hell they did.

He stared down at his sandwich that was now in the middle of the table as he'd leaned back a little, trying to ignore the sun threatening to peak through his dark bangs. His stare as his thoughts smashed around inside of his brain just made it appear as though he'd never seen a sandwich before in his life. It was far too intense, which was practically considered his default facial expression by this time in his life for whenever he was out in public.
