Personality: Reisi was just a normal boy, someone who used to pay friendly visits to his neighbors. He did it all of his own free will, his mother never asked him to deliver tasty cookies or throw a good morning to the woman sitting on the porch, knitting a sweater. He was honest, innocent, and loved by everyone around him. When he started attending to school, he made a lot of friends, inviting them over to dinner after a long day. He disliked lying heavily, it was something his father kept him away from as a child, he wanted to raise his son in a way where he'd be accepted by society and everyone in it.
He wanted a perfect son, one who wouldn't falter from the righteous path. Attending to Church surely helped him shape the boy properly. Do not do this because it's a sin, do this because God never forbade it in his bible. All of that was erased very easily when his parents never came home on his birthday. He became someone else entirely after the funeral played out. The ideal image of a saint boy ripped into little pieces as the days passed. Reisi became apathetic, knowing that the most horrible thing had already played out in his life, it made him indifferent. Failing a test or losing a friend, it wasn't much to make him shake, to make that stoic face of his falter.
That little boy who never lied started doing it and he never felt guilty afterwards. He even started using his own looks to fool others for his own gain. He became stubborn and blunt, completely different from his younger self. But no one dared to blame the boy for losing his parents in such a horrible way. Some of his good traits remained, such as being supportive whenever he wants to be, feeling as if he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone by showing his good side. Not to mention his kindness only shows if that person is really close to him.

History: [Contains self-harm and suicidal thoughts, if any of that sets you off, please don't read. I won't go into details with any of it, but still, i felt like i should warn you~]
Reisi's story surely was something worth learning about before it all went to hell. Before entering heavy details of his current path, he was just a simple boy with loving parents. His cheeks warm from the praises he'd get from his father whenever he'd do something wrong, or he'd constantly blame himself if he did something to upset them. He loved his mother dearly, watching her cook dinner made him want to help her. So he started to learn from his grandmother how to cook delicious meals.
Sometimes, his parents would invite over the Oshiro family. An overall happy looking family, though Reisi never felt compelled to go down and sit with them. It happened a few times, perhaps three times every month. They had a son, looking older than him, but not much to make Reisi feel like a child in his eyes. He looked kind of sad, almost all the time. They never talked much, only exchanging a lame 'Good evening' and a few glances as they sat across one another, their parents hoping they'd click off a good conversation with one another.
Sometimes, Reisi would go deep into his thoughts and find himself drawing the boy he learned his name was Hikaru. Reisi became involved in his own life, leaving him in a small tangled mess between pleasing his parents and going to see Hikaru again. The Oshiro family gave the friendly vibe, but still, he was afraid of being rejected. He wanted to spend time with the boy, learn more about him because he seemed to be the mysterious individual that almost anybody wanted to know about and everyone wanted to solve him.
Reisi had a weak immune system, he got sick quite a few times even in the middle of summer. That was more than enough to keep his mind busy from the mysterious neighbor boy. He started attending school, making a lot of friends, his good personality attracted a lot of people to him, his parents were proud of their little boy and how he brought home friends to eat with him and even made them a special meal.
As time passed and Reisi blended well with others, his parents finally stopped worrying about their son. His birthday approached and they both went off to buy him the present he desired a while back. They left him to care for his sick grandmother and overly worried grandfather. Time ticked by over twelve and they never made it home, only later did they receive a call from the hospital, informing his grandfather about the accident. It felt as his soul had been crushed soon after. He became haunted by memories, it kept trailing after him. Once it was too much for him to take, his mind started to infect him with bad thoughts.
Taking his own life just to end his own suffering, leaving behind two people to mourn him. It wasn't long before his grandmother died in her sleep, as peaceful as it was, it was hard for his grandfather. Losing almost everyone in his family pushed him harder to his own end. Alone one night with a kitchen knife held tightly in his hand, he simply ran it across his arm and the pain that hit him threw the boy in a different universe. Pain was supposed to wake him up, but it only pushed him in his own sorrows more. Self-harm was a dangerous road, but he found himself reveling in the feeling of pain.
Aside from how screwed up that way, Reisi grew indifferent, he slowly started to lose his friends, every single one of them pushed away by Reisi's rudeness and bluntness. As his last friend fell from his life, Reisi thought of it. Taking his own life instead of causing pain to himself. If it wasn't for his grandfather, he would've bled on the carpet, bleeding from his wrist. Waking up a few days later in the hospital, the old man asleep next to him, Reisi started to remember his own actions.
[If you wanted to go, I wouldn't have blamed you, son. I would never blame you. ]
His grandfather said with tears in his eyes. Finally, the boy stopped with his own suicidal thoughts for the sake of the old man. Leaving him would be a crude action, honestly. He started to build his own life once more, perhaps not in the same sense as before. His life didn't carry a happy ending, though the happy beginning was enough to keep him moving forward. He was left with nothing but some reminders in the house of his parents, he was forced to build himself back up. Once again, Reisi was giving himself a second chance to live some sort of normal life, all by himself, learning that friends only take what they want and leave behind traces of pain and some sort of happy memories that would only haunt him instead of releasing him from their strings. He had been tangled in strings, pain, abandon, and loneliness. But now he was free - free to be his own person and not the religious kid who attended to Church and read the bible every day like he was reading a simple story before bed. He took care of his grandfather, they both saw pain in each other's eyes, no matter how hard Reisi would attempt to put on a stoic face, he'd see right through his green orbs.
He came across bad people, they wanted nothing more but to drag him into their mess. Taking a happy pill, or running down a good line with them. They all wanted to drag him down. He could distantly remember everyone coming up to him, giving a gentle pat on his shoulder or hugging him, telling him how sorry they were for losing his parents in such a young age. It was all such a tragedy to them while Reisi barely cried and honestly, that made the situation worse for him. Upon hearing the news, he went through a small shock where his mind momentairly kept him away from the truth before it all crashed down on him like a bucket of ice falling down on his unprepared body, sending waves of shock through his body. He tried his best to disappoint his grandfather so he'd be okay with letting Reisi die instead of clinging to him like that. Whenever he made a friend, he'd try his best to disappoint them so they'd walk away and it always worked, but it never did with his grandfather. The old man simply clung to the boy like his life was somehow linked to the depressed boy, so he lived, but he was barely living. It felt like some kind of curse where he'd take a breath and feel like he was somehow wasting space in a room, doing absolutely nothing to fix himself. Though he had his own desires and dreams, some of them are worth living for.
