He had been forced to get out of the house slash restaurant for the day. Having a Tokyo train ticket forced upon him as well as some spending money. His adoptive family trying to get him to enjoy the nice spring day and to do something other than to work in the kitchen… ever since he arrived, it’s where he had spent most of time. Before he would bury himself in swimming but now it was cooking and giving a hand. Feeling like he owed Aizawas something for what they have done for him and what had happened.
Aki really didn’t feel like going out and having a good time let alone in a place he never been before. Most of his life was spent in London and the last few years traveling around. Even though he had seen many new places, he usually had a few people with him or spent most of the time in the hotel room. Tokyo was larger than he could have pictured. It was like a concrete jungle with steel and glass trees of all shapes and sizes. Even though it was only mid-afternoon, it was still a rather busy place. The noise was a little unsettling for him but he managed.
Over the next couple of hours, he spent going through a mall just window shopping as he didn’t feel like buying anything from himself. He thought about buying a thank you gift but he knew they wouldn’t accept it from him or tell him that he didn’t have to. As he walked out of the mall after finally finding the candy store within it, he reached into the ball of mini jawbreakers. A green one was pulled from the bag and placed into his mouth before he shoved the little brown bag into the pocket of his cargo pants.
As he walked down the street sucking the piece of candy, his stomach let him know he needed some food. Amber eyes stared at the burger joint in front of him. Fast food was something he never had before nor knew anything about. However what kind of choice did he have in a city like this? There was the smell of burgers, grease and fries coming out from the building and it only made his stomach growl louder.
